Project Overview

To optimize the utilization of space within the café and enhance the overall comfort experience for customers, we have undertaken an evaluation of potential redecorating options. Mindful of budgetary constraints, we are working to identify the most effective approaches to meet our objectives.

Responsibilities

As the lead designer on the project, I undertook a range of responsibilities including analyzing the current spatial challenges, researching suitable furniture options, ideating on multiple aesthetic directions, and producing high-quality 3D visualizations of the proposed designs.

A few problems had been found

Due to budget constraints, we adopted a focused approach to improve the cafe's space utilization and overall comfort. To understand the current problems, I conducted interviews with various stakeholders, including baristas, designers, and other department employees. Based on qualitative analysis, we identified five major issues that deterred customers from enjoying the cafe experience:

a. Poor space utilization
b. Ambiguous decorative elements
c. Inadequate color schemes
d. Unkempt furniture
e. Inadequate lighting for creating a cozy atmosphere

Our approach was to address these fundamental issues within the available budget, rather than a complete redesign of the space.

Combined marble and gold build luxury vibe

I choose some tables and lamps are decorated with gold material.

Besides the luxury vibe, that would be great to add some color makes the space a vitality vibe

I want to retain the white tune and add some silver material that places lamps from the ceiling to project the light to the tables to make it more quality.
